We are happy to announce that Scott Densmore has joined the Merlin team. He will serve as a Superintendent, overseeing all aspects of custom home builds.
“We are thrilled that Scott is bringing his expertise and experience to Merlin,” said Erica Morrison, Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Merlin Custom Home Builders. “Scott’s broad knowledge base and experience in managing custom home builds will allow him to step right in to serve our growing client base.”
As a Superintendent, Scott Densmore will be responsible for overseeing all on-site aspects of Merlin construction projects, including safety, scheduling, financials, and personnel. He will coordinate with Project Managers to ensure that the projects are completed to Merlin’s standards and that our clients continue to enjoy the personalized service they have come to expect of our boutique firm.
Scott started his career in the trades as a plumber and HVAC technician. He then went back to school to learn about construction blueprints and building codes. He has experience as a Track Superintendent, tracking job-site materials, equipment and subcontractors, and a General Superintendent, overseeing all aspects of custom and multi-family builds.
Scott describes himself as “a rockhound with an understanding of electrical theory, a bit of an artist, and (currently) a builder/designer of a custom car restoration.” His skills and interests were developed early in life, growing up as the son of an Electrical Engineer who spent his spare time prospecting the forests of California for gold and his mom was a multi-talented artist accomplished in both painting and carving.
Please join us in welcoming Scott to the Merlin team!
