Merlin employees and their families came together last week at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas to ring in the holidays and celebrate the firm’s 30th anniversary as Las Vegas’ premier luxury custom home builder. The evening, which was attended by all but one employee, featured a “who dunnit” Murder Mystery entitled, “The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year” in which all attendees participated. In addition to the fun and intrigue of solving the crime, employees and their families were honored for their dedication to the success of the company. Each family received an engraved champagne bottle commemorating the anniversary and expressing gratitude to the employees and the family members who support them.

The Murder Mystery, orchestrated by a trio of actors from a professional theater company, featured several employees of Merlin custom home builders as suspects, with all of the party attendees acting as detectives to solve the mystery and nab the murderer. In the end, the murder was solved by Sara Eisert (Comptroller) and boyfriend, Andy, who correctly guessed that Mike Alton’s (Superintendent) wife, Kathryn committed the crime.

Several awards were given to participants for their performances, including Best Actor, Jayden Richardson (General Laborer); Best Actress, Erica Morrison (Chief Operating Officer); and Best Dressed, Juliann Wilton (Project Coordinator).

A great time was had by all! We hope your holidays are filled with family, friendship and joy!
