Las Vegas, Nevada – June 22, 2019 – Merlin Custom Home Builders brought home a 2019 Silver Nugget Award from the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association’s gala, held Saturday evening, June 22 at the Red Rock Resort & Casino, Charleston Boulevard, Las Vegas. The award-winning custom builder of unique, luxury homes and condominiums was awarded for Best Design & Architecture for their Water’s Edge model custom home located in the Estates at Reflection Bay at Lake Las Vegas.
Representing the Merlin team at the gala were Steve Jones, Anne Jones, Erica Morrison, Chad Morrison, Mike Alton, Kathryn Alton, Jayden Roman, Robert Brown, Linda Brown, Sara Eisert and Andy Toms. Steve Jones accepted the 2019 Silver Nugget Award on behalf of everyone at the firm.

About The Project
The architect for this, the first luxury custom home to be built on Lake Las Vegas’ exclusive Estates at Reflection Bay, was Swaback Partners lead by Mike Wetzel. The design objective for the award-winning custom luxury home was to create a personal expression of a home with both visual and physical connections to the lake. That objective was not only met, but exceeded as the orientation of the two-story, custom contemporary home captures stunning views of the lake, close and distant mountains, and the golf course from all main livable spaces. Previously featured in Luxury Las Vegas Magazine, the extraordinary custom home offers an indoor/outdoor experience like no other, with an outdoor living space that captures the essence of a contemporary desert estate through the use of clean, hard-edged minimalism and materials such as concrete and metals and an indoor living space that reflects sophistication and comfort throughout.
